Project carried out for 400 Conejos, mezcalera brand of Grupo Cuervo, in which the “Legend of the 400 Rabbits” was given life through the creation of mezcaleros in the form of artisanal bunnies.
The Dimetria Collective, Tuux’s commercial ally, was responsible for managing the link between Cuervo, Olivia Cerámica and Tuux. Colectivo Dimetria designed the bunny and packaging, Olivia Cerámica carried out the pottery process with red clay, and Tuux selected the appropriate technique for the project, thus leading the linking of the artisans of San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca. These talented artisans, through hand painting, captured the iconography characteristic of the alebrije technique, giving a mystical touch to each piece.
This collaboration becomes an outstanding example that fosters horizontal collaboration between designers, companies and artisans, merging and promoting contemporary design with ancestral art.
